Modular structural design
A “air cushion” valve seat with a specially designed GROTH configuration is provided. The high-performance Teflon valve seat diaphragm, available as a standard component, minimizes adhesion of resin vapors and atmospheric moisture to the valve seat.
Featuring a self-draining housing and a drip ring, this design protects the valve seat surface from damage caused by condensation and ice formation, while also preventing the buildup of tank pressure or vacuum when the valve becomes stuck or clogged.
If there are special requirements, GROTH can provide other valve seat diaphragm materials such as nitrile rubber and fluoroelastomer.
