The 2018 EK Semi-Annual Conference Was Held Successfully

To thoroughly review the first half of 2018 and more effectively advance the second-half initiatives, EK successfully held its 2018 Semi-Annual Meeting in July 2018. The meeting commenced with an opening address by the General Manager, who provided a summary of the company’s performance during the first half of the year.
The work plan for the second half of the year was outlined, followed by individual mid-year performance reviews from each employee. With thorough preparation, participants engaged in in-depth presentations and discussions on “summaries and plans, achievements and shortcomings.”
In the second half of the meeting, in order to conduct business operations more efficiently, the Ministry of Commerce conducted training on business processes, identified and summarized the vulnerabilities that had emerged in these processes, and proposed corresponding solutions. At the same time, efforts were made to further strengthen the company’s corporate culture and institutional framework.
To this end, the Human Resources and Administration Department conducted training on the latest company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, while the Finance Department provided an in-depth briefing on the relevant financial reimbursement procedures. Each training session and policy briefing is designed to build a more efficient and highly accountable work team.
Each summary serves as a review of our past work; only a thorough and insightful summary can reveal shortcomings and areas for improvement, thereby providing clear guidance for future efforts. This meeting has enabled us to clearly define our tasks and development objectives for the second half of the year.
