Book Discussion on “The Courage to Be Disliked”
2025-09-16
Recently, all employees of Shanghai EK participated in a group reading of “The Courage to Be Disliked,” and the ensuing book-sharing session concluded successfully. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, with participants drawing on their daily work and personal lives to share the profound impact and insights the book has brought them. “The Courage to Be Disliked” is a truly eye-opening guide for the soul; it not only addresses universal themes of personal growth but also explores how to bravely confront societal biases and pressures—and how to achieve personal freedom and development through taking responsibility for oneself.
“The Courage to Be Disliked” is also a kind of revelation: it does not merely teach us how to confront external criticism and misunderstanding, but more importantly, how to face ourselves, how to stay true to who we are on life’s challenging journey, and how to bravely forge our own unique path. Along the way, it helps us learn to accept our imperfections, to take responsibility with courage, to embrace both the hardships and the beauty of life, and ultimately to achieve personal growth and transcendence.
Conclusion
May every reader, upon finishing this book, discover the courage that is uniquely their own—and may they dare to embrace their own freedom and happiness.
The Shanghai EK shared reading event is still ongoing…
