The journey of life is like collecting stamps—always dreaming of visiting more destinations and savoring diverse travel experiences within the span of our lives. Whether by plane, train, car, or on foot, each mode offers its own unique charm. Yet cruising stands out as the ultimate way to truly unwind and let go. This voyage aboard the MSC Splendida with Shanghai EK has finally made our dream of sailing the open seas a reality.

As the cool evening breeze sweeps across the sea, we sing and dance with abandon, our hearts filled with enchanting melodies that seem to linger in every corner. Classic hits, pop rock, jazz—professional singers and bands perform live everywhere you look. With the vast ocean as our companion and music as our constant guide, we gather together, chatting and laughing freely. It’s a vibrant, youthful celebration aboard the cruise ship—driven by the rhythm of the band and the dancers, and fueled by a touch of alcohol, we revel until our senses blur with sheer joy!

As the sun sets in the west, this is the prime of our lives.

The twilight over the sea is even more enchanting than the daytime. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, I find myself able to momentarily set aside all my worries, immerse myself in this beautiful moment, and savor the small joys of the present. The orange-yellow light slowly spreads across the water’s surface—how could such a breathtaking scene be missed? I switch on my phone’s camera, lock the focus, and let loose, fully soaking in the dreamlike seascape. This is the golden age of our lives!
