“During the Assembly on Ling Mountain, the World-Honored One held up a flower and showed it to the assembly. At that moment, everyone remained silent—except for the Venerable Kashyapa, who broke into a gentle smile.” Thus was born the name of the Zen-inspired town—Nianhuawan! The name “Nianhuawan” draws its inspiration, on the one hand, from the classic story of the Buddha holding up a flower at the Ling Mountain Assembly, to which Kashyapa responded with a smile. Pick up A flower smiles. It’s also due to the magical landscape of the site itself, which resembles a five-petaled lotus flower. The town’s overall architectural style bears a striking resemblance to Nara, Japan, yet it incorporates the distinctive waterways characteristic of Jiangnan towns in China, creating a uniquely harmonious architectural aesthetic that immerses the entire town in an exquisitely beautiful ambiance. In the evening, there are even more captivating attractions: a water-screen light and shadow show, the lighting ceremony for the Nianhua Tower, and a floating performance featuring five-petaled flowers blooming on the water. Under the enchanting illumination, strolling through the streets of Nianhua Bay feels like stepping back into the most glorious era of the Tang Dynasty. On the Five-Light Lake, the Zen-inspired “Five-Petaled Flowers Blooming” performance unfolds before you like a fairyland. As gentle Zen music fills the air, ethereal mist and shimmering waves drift lazily around you. With lasers casting their beams, lotus flowers seem to bloom right before your eyes—your mind empties completely, and your soul is cleansed and refreshed. Meanwhile, over on the other side... When the lighthouse is fully lit, it seems like a massive glazed-tile tower—its colors dazzling and mesmerizing, crystal-clear and translucent. , It's dazzling to the eye.

Daytime The Nianhuawan area is also brimming with Zen essence everywhere. Every brick and tile, every step reveals a new scene. 。 Nianhuawan is a perfect spot for taking photos. , Watching flowers, watching grass, and drinking tea—this is the most calming and serene experience.
